“Songs such as Let The Good Times Roll, Whispering Bells, The Wanderer, Silhouettes On The Shade, Long Tall Sally, Old Time Rock And Roll, Surfin' Safari, Dancin' In The Streets, These Arms Of Mine, Unchained Melody, Rescue Me, Your Love Keeps Liftin' Me Higher And Higher, and Why Do Fools Fall In Love.

“Or do you remember Runaway, It's Only Make Believe, Fever, Green River, Do Wah Diddy Diddy, Some Kinda Wonderful, Shotgun, Who's Makin' Love, What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted, I Got You Babe, Sittin' On The Dock Of The Bay, Mustang Sally, and Proud Mary?

“If you remember at least five of those song, you will really enjoy a Hubcaps concert at Jordan’s Rooftop,” said Jordan.

“The Hubcaps will help you re-live the memories you have about all those great songs. Their special brand of 50s and 60s Rock and Roll proves that the music will live on forever.”
The Hubcaps are the kick off for the musical celebration at Jordan’s Rooftop to honor their “10 years of dining and entertaining excellence.”

“This is a great opportunity for locals, visitors and summer residents to see one of the nation’s most exciting show bands,” said Jordan. “The Hubcaps are one of the most popular show bands ever to play the Maryland and Delaware resort areas.”

The Hubcaps consist of eight lead vocalists who are proficient on a number of instruments. Depending on the song, they use a horn section, or three rockabilly guitars, or multi-keyboards, or six part doo-wop harmony.
“This instrumentation, blended with their rich vocals produces tremendous sound qualities and reinforces their reputation for capturing the authentic ‘feel’ and sound reproduction of the original recordings,” said Jordan.

The Hubcaps are the first group to appear in Jordan’s Rooftop 2001 Rock and Roll Summer Concert Series with their exciting 50s and 60s Rock and Roll showband music.

The year 2001 also marks the 10th anniversary of Jordan’s Rooftop.

Jordan’s plans a summer of music that will include appearances by Chubby Checker, B.J. Thomas, Michael Hoover as Elvis and other musical notables.

They have traveled all over the U.S. and have performed an average of 200 shows a year since 1974. While every show is somewhat different production, the Hubs get requests to play some of their audiences’ favorites.

“The Hubcaps perform some song so much like the original you have to pinch yourself to make sure you are not seeing and hearing the original songs,” said Jordan.
